Nadcap is an industry-managed approach to conformity assessment that brings together technical experts from both Industry and Government to establish requirements for accreditation, accredit Suppliers and define operational program requirements. This results in a standardized approach to quality assurance and a reduction in redundant auditing throughout the aerospace industry because Prime contractors, Suppliers and Government representatives have joined forces to develop the comprehensive program.

Continue reading »]]> PLANO, TX – TrueLogic Company, a Texas-based software & services company, announced today the official release of the iTrueLogic App written for the iPhone, iPod and iPad platforms.

iTrueLogic is an application written by TrueLogic Company to assist its customers in their efforts to implement “Lean Manufacturing” practices by allowing them to input variable process data into their TrueChem Chemical Analysis and Statistical Control Software Database from the source point of the data, and to allow them to confirm remotely that process control/improvement action items initiated from TrueChem have been completed. iTrueLogic will eliminate the need to search for an open workstation or to walk to the laboratory to enter the information into TrueChem, and it will allow customers to retrieve information remotely from their TrueChem Database, providing a “real time status report” of their processes while they are still in the area of the operation. This will save significant time if the processes are running correctly, but the savings of time and money can be even greater if condition exists where time is of the essence.

iTrueLogic can be loaded onto iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads to communicate with TrueLogic’s TrueChem Chemical Analysis and Statistical Control Software, which is utilized by prominent manufacturing companies and government institutions around the world. TrueChem assists these manufacturers and more to achieve continuous process improvement; allowing them to maximize the quality and dependability of essential parts that they manufacture; ranging from decorative to life saving products.

Manufacturers utilizing TrueChem experience a significant decrease in part failures that could result in very expensive reworks, recalls, quarantines and/or scrap. Part failures could also result in major accidents/incidents where surface finishing of the failed part could be a root cause. Under such circumstances, one such incident at one facility could create an everlasting detrimental affect on a great number of people.

A simple example of TrueChem’s ability to prevent such problems would be a feature that automatically sends notifications to key personnel when results from three consecutive analyses trend downward. This automatic recognition/notification action could have prevented an actual situation where more than three results were decreasing and a fourth analysis was missed. The next analysis showed the chemistry to be “out of spec,” which required thousands of parts to be retrieved from airplanes and quarantined, leading to significant test/rework/scrap expenses, and to extensive costs associated with administrative, QA, PR, and other support.

Utilizing TrueChem to create, store and protect process knowledge, rules, and associated actions can significantly reduce the probability of a major costly mistake, as well as improving efficiency and lowering operating and maintenance costs. Companies like the ones listed above utilize TrueChem to take advantage of savings from improved process control and to avoid costly production incidents that are more likely to result without TrueChem’s scheduling, notification and corrective action functionality. iTrueLogic will allow this data to be entered into TrueChem quicker and the information exported from TrueChem to be accessed quicker, which will make this very powerful program even more significant in manufacturing process control.

The localization of TrueChem into Chinese is part of the company’s move into Asia.  The company is also involved in strategic partner discussions which will provide them sales and service coverage throughout Greater China and Southeast Asia.
